Summary

A poolside patio can wear down fast, especially when exposed to weather and regular use. This project called for a full restoration to replace unsafe decking, repair damaged supports, and block wildlife from getting underneath. The goal was not just to fix what was broken but to make the area safer and more comfortable for everyone.

The Work

Removed deteriorated deck boards and replaced them with new, pressure-treated wood
Repaired and reinforced damaged framing, including joist and post replacement
Installed secure framing hardware and fasteners
Replaced broken lattice skirting with sturdy plywood enclosure to keep out animals
Cleaned up debris and inspected the finished surface for safety

The Outcome

The restored patio now has a level, strong walking surface around the pool. Support posts and joists were addressed to prevent future sagging or instability. The new skirting has closed off access for wildlife, so the area stays cleaner and safer. The space is ready for poolside gatherings and daily use.
